Is the calculator really free?
Yes. It runs in your browser and there's nothing to sign up for. Nothing you type in is sent anywhere unless you choose to send us a message.
How does it work out the cost?
It multiplies the hours a week by 52 to get hours a year, then by what you said an hour is worth. Working weeks are counted as 40 hours. It's deliberately simple, so treat the answer as a rough guide.
