Pricing and margin workbook
Price everything you sell from what it costs you and the margin you want, in one workbook.
Coming soon
Not on sale yet. The price and a Buy button appear here when it is ready.
Use the free margin and markup calculatorWhat it does
A spreadsheet workbook for your whole price list. Put in what each item costs you and the margin you want, and it works out the selling price, the profit on each sale and the markup, with VAT shown if you are registered.
The free margin and markup calculator does one item at a time in your browser. The workbook keeps every item in one place, so you can see the lot and change it when your costs change.
Who it is for
Anyone who sets or checks prices: shops, makers, trades and service businesses of any size.

Questions
Do I need the workbook if I use the free calculator?
Not for a single item. The free calculator works out one price at a time. The workbook is for keeping your whole price list in one place.
When will it be available?
It is being made now. It goes on sale on this page, with its price, when it is ready.
How will I pay?
Orders are handled by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, adds any VAT or sales tax that applies and sends your receipt. Your card details go to Paddle, not to us.
Can I get a refund?
You can ask within 14 days of buying. Because it is a download, a change-of-mind refund is not normally given once it has been downloaded or used. A faulty product is always fixed, replaced or refunded. Our Refund Policy has the detail.
