Questions
Are the free tools really free?
Yes. They run in your browser and there is nothing to sign up for. Nothing you enter is sent to us unless you choose to send a message.
When can I buy the workbooks?
They are being made now. Each one goes on sale on its own page, with its price, when it is ready. Until then, the free calculators do the single sums.
How does the task cost calculator work out a year?
It multiplies the minutes each task takes by how often it happens and by the number of people doing it, over a working year of 46.4 weeks: 52 weeks less the 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a full-time worker is entitled to in the UK. You can change every figure, including the hours and days in a working week.
Do you build websites?
Yes. We build new websites, redesign existing ones and fix specific problems, to a fixed price agreed before work starts. A new site or redesign starts from £900. For a minor fix, describe it in as much detail as you can: if we can put it right for less than the £295 consultation, we will quote for the fix alone. We do not promise search rankings or traffic.
How does bespoke work start?
With a £295 consultation. We go through the job properly, write it up and give you a fixed price for each part. If you go ahead, the £295 is credited in full against the build.
